Woodworking

learn valuable carpentry skills

The Woodworking Course is designed to teach a wide range of woodworking skills over various lengths of time. A six-month trial period exposes young men to machinery use and basic skills. During this time, students will decide if they want to receive further training in woodworking. After this point, an extended commitment of 12–18 months is recommended to gain the full potential of this course. As skill level and understanding increase, students will have opportunities to train and work with others.

Program Overview >>

Sean Greer “Through the hands-on training I received at the Woodworking Course, I was taught to take a large project from start to finish while developing a host of skills that could be used in a commercial shop. After only six months of training, I applied at three commercial woodworking shops and received job offers from all of them!” —Sean Greer
